Who will the Seattle Council pick to represent the city?
Plus, we discuss the new council president's decision to oust the popular head of the council's central staff.
Sandeep, David, and I had some fun this week arguing about who the Seattle City Council will choose for the open citywide seat recently vacated by Teresa Mosqueda—and, more importantly, who should get it. PubliCola has been reporting on the likely candidates since last week, but one name, recently vanquished Tammy Morales opponent Tanya Woo, seems to have risen to the top of the list. But will citywide voters support someone who couldn’t prevail in a race for a much smaller slice of the electorate, especially in a Presidential-year general election? We discuss all that and more on this week’s Seattle Nice.
