I'd like to know more about what happened there. I can certainly believe being accosted on the street by a couple of people; it's certainly happened to me once or twice in the past 25 years living here that someone in an "altered state of mind" has hassled me, but the idea that it was a targeted hate crime rather than just "a couple people in a mental health crisis, one of them swinging a stick, were near me" needs a bit more than a single anecdotal report.
